How verification works

The Verified badge on bildfie is not automatic. Here is exactly what it takes to earn it, who reviews it, and what it means for anyone hiring you.

What you submit
  1. Government-issued ID. National ID, passport, or driving licence. Front (and back if applicable) — a clear photo of the physical document.
  2. A selfie. Holding the ID, so we can confirm the person on the profile matches the person on the ID.
  3. Your legal name and ID number as they appear on the document.
Uploads are stored on our servers under /uploads/kyc/ and are only visible to Bildfie admin reviewers.
What we check
  1. The ID document is real and unexpired.
  2. The name and ID number you typed match what's on the document.
  3. The face in the selfie matches the face on the ID.
  4. You are the account owner — the ID matches the phone / email you signed up with where we can cross-check.
Review is done manually by a Bildfie admin. We do not use any automated face-match or AI ID-recognition service — every approval is a human decision.
What Verified means (and doesn't)

It means: we've confirmed the person behind the profile is a real, identifiable individual whose legal identity we hold on file. It's a barrier to sockpuppets and impersonators.

It doesn't mean: we've verified their trade skills, licences, past work quality, insurance, or ability to deliver. Those are separate signals — reviews, uploaded portfolio, ratings, and any specific licence you'll see labelled separately on the profile.
